Chatporter Secures Funding to Expand Utility AI Agents

We are pleased to announce that Chatporter has signed a funding agreement for the project “Expansion of the Chatporter Utility AI Agents Platform with a Smart Utility Module Featuring Adaptive Integration of Multi-Source Data.”

As part of the project, we will expand the existing Chatporter Utility AI Agents platform with a new module designed for telecommunications operators, infrastructure management companies, and organisations operating in the Smart City and Smart Utility sectors.

The solution will provide conversational access to data from IoT devices, telemetry platforms, network and infrastructure inventory systems, and external sources such as weather data. Users will be able to ask questions in natural language, analyse energy and utility consumption, detect anomalies, compare data across periods and devices, and receive recommendations for operational actions.

The new module will support use cases in areas such as energy management, street lighting, and smart metering for electricity, water, gas, and heat. Its purpose is to help organisations move more quickly from fragmented data to clear insights and better-informed operational decisions.

A key element of the project is the development of conversational operations. Instead of switching between multiple dashboards, reports, and analytical tools, users will be able to interact with infrastructure data through a natural-language interface. The platform will present results in a clear form, generate charts and summaries, and suggest possible actions while keeping final control with the user.

The project is being carried out under the IDEA Global Accelerator and the Startup Booster Poland – Smart UP programme. It is co-financed by the European Union under the European Funds for a Modern Economy 2021–2027 programme.
